SOME ASSHOLE is currently blowing through her prana pool for some reason, Rin decides to entertain herself by tinkering around on the network. That and she's been so bored lately without Shirou slaving around her apartment that she has to make an attempt to reach out to others one way or the other. ]

I have an idea.
There was a website launched a few decades back where people would post a photo of themselves on the Internet.
Actually there were a number of sites of that nature, but the purpose of this one was different !!
People would vote on a scale of 1 to 10 on how HOT they were based on the photo chosen.
So if you've got the balls, you should post a pic and have people vote !!
BTW since I'm such a cool person, I made it so you could reply to people who vote.
I guess you could also post anonymously if you're afraid of the repercussions, but I'll know who you are ♡

.. then again, he's probably biased since he's the exact opposite and just way too blunt about everything. But Heisuke has thrown out the problem, so there we go, this he can work with. ]

Y E S! A great big resounding YES. He's not that good with words as it is, and he tends to not really talk about emotional stuff, so that was quite hard. ]

His voice drops to a mumble, his tone falling flat, deflated. He doesn't like saying this stuff because he always feels like he'll do the wrong thing no matter what he does or says. ]
I told you. I'm not Shinsengumi any more. You don't have to trust someone to help them, it just means you're not a dick, but why would you want to have someone around that you can't trust not to stab you in the back and walk away?
[ Why should they trust him not to abandon them? He's done it once already, though it tore him to pieces to do it, and every minute after. He'd only just accepted Chizuru's offer of returning, only just said that she was what he would fight for, and suddenly he'd wound up in Zelien... and later, here. He'd never gone home in between, so didn't that technically mean he never went back to the Shinsengumi? Isn't he still their enemy? ]

Heisuke, if you think even for one moment that I'd believe you would stab me in the back, you're a dumbass. [ Even if they're technically still enemies from Heisuke's point of view, Shinpachi never did view it that way. How could he think of his freind as his enemy, especially when nothing about Heisuke changed? ]
Shinsengumi or not, who gives a damn about that? You're Heisuke, so that means you're my friend.
[ Shinpachi is very much with the Shinsengumi, don't get him wrong on that - but like hell he's going to let that determine who he can or can't talk to on a more personal basis. He's always been the type of person to make his own decisions regardless of anything else, after all. ]
If anyone doesn't like that, then they can suck it up. [ Okay, so it's said in the usual blunt straightforward Shinpachi kind of way, but.. he means all of it fondly, okay. Heisuke's one of his best friends for a reason. ]

To know that Shinpachi still thought of him as a friend even after everything... it hurt. It really hurt to think that he'd doubted them. ]

[ And instead of saying anything else, he shuts the CereVice off and instead sets himself to track Shinpachi down. Allowing Heisuke to find him will mean he's getting a really awkward hug and apology. Not for the picture, because really, he's not sorry for that, nor is he sorry for basically telling everyone that Sano and Shin are dating, but for doubting him at all. ]

[ Okay, not like it really hurts or anything. Shinpachi is used to much worse than puppies tackling him, but it still catches him off guard enough that the small sound escapes his mouth when it suddenly does happen.
He doesn't really get it either (he doesn't mind getting physical, but why--) but staring at Heisuke for a moment and hearing those words makes it a little more clear.
Only a little, since.. well, he still doesn't think Heisuke has to apologize for anything. Heisuke did what he thought was right, and even if it didn't end up being the right decision.. well, Shinpachi can appreciate him having the balls for daring to do what he believed was best anyway. How could he of all people blame anyone for that, even if he missed one of his best friends like hell?

[ But after another moment of laughing and roughing up Heisuke's hair a little further, Shinpachi's grip on the other relaxes a little bit. Even if he doesn't fully let go either. It's since he remembers what Heisuke originally came to him for.
Instead his tone gets a little less boisterous - or at least less loud. ]
.. Hey, Heisuke. About Sano and I though.. you don't gotta worry about us abandoning you or anything, 'kay? We'll be here with you, that's what friends are for.
[ And it's not just ironic considering what's going to happen later. Because this Shinpachi knows the future - he knows that Heisuke is probably pretty much doomed too, considering he's a rasetsu already back home, but.. he still just doesn't want to leave the other guy behind. So he's already decided that when he leaves and Sano doubtlessly comes along with him, he's going to make sure to ask Heisuke too if he wants to come. If he wants to stay with the Shinsengumi, that's fine too - but he at least doesn't want to just abandon him and forget about him under those circumstances. No way. ]

He's really glad for the relaxed grip, because it means he doesn't end up with bald spots worn into his head where Shinpachi's knuckles were digging, but the way his tone changes catches him a little off guard. ]

[ He lifts his eyes, staring up at Shinpachi in confusion for a few moments before giving him a look that can only be described as hopeful puppy eyes. ]
