Listen up, this is important. [ Normally when Rin addresses the network through the CereVice, it's with a whimsical demeanor that shows she doesn't take anything seriously at all. That shroud's been dispelled. In lieu of it is a determined, but cold young woman. ]

There was an odd message that appeared on the network towards the end of last year around December 7. You could try to recover it, but the message has expired since then. [ No doubt for good reason, but Rin's used to painting a target on her back so she has no qualms with revealing information all while brushing off the danger she's placed herself in. ] The contents don't merit discussion, but through the help of another we've unearthed valuable information that should be shared to everyone who has been brought to this colony from another world.

[ Standing beside her,

Archer speaks up. ] ...let's start like this. The beings that claim to be Artificial Intelligence's happen to have physical forms. I'm not taking questions on the matter but I've met one.

[ Rin groans, not pleased with being rudely cut off where everyone can see. ] It's as my Archer says. The one who contacted us has a physical form and most likely could be endangered due to your reckless discussions about them after the fact. With the alias LILITH, she arrived from another world once like we have, but due to being a part of this colony for so long, she has developed abilities to better combat the infrastructure of the system that surrounds this place. There are others like her who are far superior and have displayed omnipotent abilities as many of us have witnessed over time.

... speaking of others, LILITH is searching for her sister. Finding her may be another piece of the puzzle and if you do happen to locate such an individual, I hope you'll call me. Anyway Archer, what were the assumed titles of the others she mentioned? I forgot already...

[ SIGHING. This was proper biblical history. How could anyone not know it. ] We're not just talking about LILITH here. If we go into the meat of it, we also need to bring in ADAM and EVE. If everyone has heard the story about the first man and woman, descriptions won't be necessary.

You'll have to ignore my Servant's lack of tact when it comes to these things. [ Rin pipes back up after jabbing her elbow into his side for all the good it does her. Those abs. ] More importantly, they are Artificial Intelligence which means it's possible that LILITH as well as others are learning from our actions. There was mention of a trial and if my suspicions are true, then LILITH's compiling the data she received in order to create a simulation of sorts, possibly for ViViD. Hmm, it's been a while and we haven't heard anything yet so it's possible this sort of thing takes a large amount of time and processing power.

If you ignored all of that, then you should at least take these last two things to heart.

My Archer fought against this LILITH and even though the battle was rough, the area surrounding it was untouched. I'm not sure if this is a side effect of the colony itself or if it's some kind of hidden ability within the AI's themselves. Breaking into the system that governs this colony and taking advantage of that could help us combat the power outages as well as destructive behavior of some of the robotic friends here.

[ Now time for the hard part, the one she suspects won't go over so well with others. ] While speaking with LILITH, she referred to us outsiders as blikna. When inquired about its meaning, she simply informed us that her kind refer to the diseased with that term. There's something that's dirtied our blood. Sorry to shatter your disillusion about how fine everything is because it's not fine at all!

[ After retreating for a moment, Archer is back on the scene! Mostly to keep Rin from getting riled up. ] Try not to get uptight. There's always going to be something wrong with you. Especially with most of you idiots. Either way, don't go running to the doctor. And don't ask too many questions or you'll end up making things difficult. There's a bit more but speaking of going a little overboard....

[ Nope, don't mind him as he hits the button to cut off the broadcast. And probably get hit a few more times. That's a sacrifice he's willing to make. ]

I suppose I should ask about ADAM and EVE, and their connection to LILITH. How much have you learned about them?

Other than the fact that they're all related, I know absolutely nothing at all about them. Not even if they're friend or foe.

If I recall correctly, the original Lilith was said to be Adam's first wife, famed for her refusal to defer to him. Eve was her replacement.

If we are to follow such names as being symbolic, perhaps the LILITH here could be interpreted as their enemy?

It's possible but probably not safe to jump to those kinds of conclusions. Either way, it would be better overall to treat them as indirect enemies until proven otherwise.

Of course it's just conjecture, but it's one possible theory. Their names can't be mere coincidence, after all.

Athena said she would like to help LILITH. If they are enemies, I hope she isn't putting her trust in the wrong side.

Athena would like to help anyone who seems remotely sympathetic. I doubt she'll find her unless I agree to help.

Unless she sought Athena out for herself. It isn't beyond the realm of possibility, given she reached out to the network once before.

I'd give it a small chance. But not anything in the double digit percentages. I feel like this AI prefers her secrecy for her time being.

Then what is our next move? Do we simply leave her be, while she compiles data for this simulation your master mentioned?

If they're compiling data, then let's give them false data.

If they're learning about us through observation, as CERES are... I suppose the false data would involve altering our behaviour? Or do you know of a more direct means?

I've got an idea. Not one I want to speak about on a network. But if my Master approves it, I think you'll have a personal interest in it.
